An antique English, solid15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) locket fob; finely made, with a polished agate seal back,and locket lid formed from a solid 22 carat gold George III guinea coin.

High quality, very collectible & perfect for wear on a chain!

CONDITION: Very good. Some detailloss to coin - see pictures.Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Hinge & closure good.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Coin dated 1791, mounted around 1880.

DIMENSIONS:24 mmdiameter(1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 13.2grams.
