A beautiful and rare pair of Englishsolid sterling silver cream jugs. They are both hallmarked for Birmingham 1988with the maker’s marks being JBC & SLD for J B Chatterley & SonsLtd. They have a beautiful Georgian design having nicely shaped bodies, sweeping handles, and sparrow beak spouts.They are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They area good usable size measuring almost 3.75 inches (9.3cms) tall to the top ofthe handles by over 3.25 inches (8.5cms) wide handle to spout and have a heavy combined weight of 253 grams. A well designed well made rare pair.
