QUALITY VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER RIBBED VESTA CASE 1894 ANTIQUE:

A welldesign nice quality Victorian sterling silver vesta case. It is hallmarked forBirmingham 1894 with the maker’s marks being TH for Thomas Hayes. It has a beautiful ribbed design and has been made from thick gaugesilver. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes andrepairs. The hinge and spring are strong allowing the lid to snap shut as itshould. It measures 1.75 inches (4.4cms) tall by over 1.25 inch (3.3cms) acrossand weighs 24 grams. A nice quality example.
