QUALITY ENGLISH SOLID STERLING SILVER MODERNIST SNUFF PILL BOX LONDON 1969:

A nicely designed modernist solid sterlingsilver snuff / pill box. It is hallmarked for London 1969 with the makersmarks being SJR. It has been unusually designed having a textured top and base and internal gilding. Itis in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs - just very faint marks to the inside lid not visible externally and faint scratches. Thehinge is strong and the lid closes flush and tight forming a good seal. It measures 1.5 inches(3.9cms) across by over 1 inch (2.8cms) front to back by a touch under 1 cm tall and weighs 17 grams. A very good quality piece.
