This book looks to be from the 70s perhaps, there is no face page with any publishing info or date. It is a Sunset book and the cost printed on the front was 2.45.

It has a wealth of information, especially for a new quilter. The first section contains info on technique and all aspects of quilting, including hand applique stitches and machine applique and stuffed applique, piecing, choice of colors, the use of sashing and binding, tied quilts, and making the sandwich prior to quilting. I can\'t think of anything they have failed to cover, except rotary cutting perhaps.
