RARE 19TH CENTURY SPONGEWARE SHAKER:

Unique Sponge ware Shaker that measures 5\" tall and 2 1/2\" in diameter. The overall color is a soft purple with 3 decorative sections in white, inside the white areas are colorful stems of flowers. Holes cover the entire top of the shaker. There is a small chip around one of the holes and a little paint loss around the very top. The base also has a chip, which could be an easy fix for a porcelain restorer. The chips are typical for a piecethis age.

It still is a great piece that would be a wonderful addition for a sponge ware collector. I haven\'t seen another one like this, it is very unusual.
