This is a vellum parchment scroll with the original, authentic signature of one of the great Jewish spiritual leaders of our time, Rav Ovadya Yosef. He is the founder of the Shas religious party as well as the head of his sons Yeshiva in Jerusalem Chavat Daas. In this Yeshiva young men study to become Rabbi\'s. After they study for several years, they are tested by Rav Ovadya or one of his students on their rabbinical knowledge dealing with the laws of Kosher. If they pass they receive an ordination certificate stating that they can be Rabbi\'s in a synagogue or school or what have you. The certificate that they receive is usually made from parchment... EXACTLY LIKE THIS ONE! It seems this copy was discarded since there was someone\'s name in the place. This name can be erased and I can have my scribe fill it in your or anyone else\'s name or you can do it yourself! Rav Ovadya\'s signature is present, but not that of his son Rav David.
