The quilt is 7 blocks by 9 blocks finishing approximately 43\" X 55\". It is made with 3 layers of soft flannel fabric. The quilt blocks are cut 8 1/2\" and after sewing the blocks and washing the quilt the blocks measure 6\" to 6 1/2\". The seam intersections are all triple stitched. The outside of the edge of the quilt is sewn around two times, all this is to make the quilt more durable. The more you wash this flannel the softer it will get. The quilt has been washed and dried once to start the ragging process. This is a easy care quilt. It can be just thrown in the washer and dryer.I have been making quilts for over 30 years to use in my license home childcare.
