This is a gorgeous picture. Dark clear concise colors. I could not capture the beauty of the picture with my camera and was difficult keepingmyself and other background stuff out of the picture.Please note that the picture itself..has some blur around the trees and other parts of the picture per the artist technique. I am undecided on the number on the picture. I believe it is 244/300 but it might be 249 or 299.
I purchased this picture from and estate sale and was told it was purchased on a cruise ship. It has a certificate of authenticity from Park West Gallery.
The Frame is 28\" tall by 22\" lengthwhile the actual picture is 11 1/2\" length and 17\" tall. It was framed by Ben Franklin Crafts.
Raphael was Born in France in 1960.He is self-taught and began painting at an early age. While greatly influenced by the landscape that surrounds him, he is also influenced by the intense colors found in nature. Such colors as vibrant blues, lemon yellows,, etc mixed with intense touches of deep chocolate brown and sometimes black. Like other great colorists, Robic enjoys the use of shadows and their various shades of grays.

While following the initial sketch, drawn with the palette knife, Robic mixes the colour and applies it in “real time”. He uses a brushstroke that is precise, and dynamic in its application. He also uses his fingertips or the side of a piece of cardboard, or the “dripping” technique.
