Up for sale we are proudly offering very rare find, 18 size American Waltham Watch Co. grade Vanguard 21 jewel antique pocket watch housed in a massive and original 14 karat yellow gold case. This pocket watch was a presentation piece by W. Virginia State Senate in 1903. Movement works very well and keeps excellent time. This movement is highly decorated, with diamond end stones and gold jewel settings. Movement serial number is 9509325, made in 1900-01. Dial is glass enameled double sunk. It one hairline at 32 minute mark and very small edge chips around 7-8 minute marks, over all looks great. What a great case. It is solid 14 karat gold and very heavy. This watch complete weigh 125 grams, about 80.6 dwt. It is in great condition. Glass crystal, crown, bow and hands are in great shape also.
