Description:
Offered is a rather rare token from the Civil War Era for a special delivery service created by George T. Hussey. The front of the token shows Mercury riding a horse with \"1863\" stamped below it. Around the token at the top is \"Time is Money\" with \"Expediency\" at the bottom. The reverse offers a man on a what looks to be a small steam engine and reads \"Hussey\'s Special Message Post 50 Wm. St. N. York\". The coin is in great likely uncirculatedcondition measuring 19 mm across with a weight of 3.06 grams composed of copper.A fresh estate find!
