Extremely rare Germanwar surgery book forsurgeons, engaged in operatingonwounded warriors with war injuries. Published in 1885 in Kiel, Germany.256 pages with 358 rare and explicit woodcut illustrations. Thisbook measures over 5 x 7 1/2 inches and is ingood used condition (with browning pages), except for the status of its spine cover with visible tears and missing parts. However, the binding is solid. The cover also has obvious abrasions and is slightly warped. The illustrations are at times very shockingly explicitor even gruesomely graphic; alas, such is the nature ofwar wounds.
