Greetings!For your consideration:\"Masterpieces From The Works Of Gustave Dore Selected From The Dore Bible, Milton, Dante\'s Inferno, Dante\'s Purgatorio and Paradiso, Fontain, Fairy Realm, Don Quixote, Baron Munchausen, &c., &c.\" by Edmund Ollier, Cassell Publishing Company, New York, USA, 1887, First EditionIn overall Good condition with moderate soiling, shelf wear and corner bumping; Hinge cracking to both boards but boards are firm and secure. Binding is holding however it is very delicate and some of the page groupings are a bit loose; some light fraying to some page ends. Gold beveled boards with ornate gilt black gilt detailing and illustrations to the front cover and spine; titling done in gold gilt however faded; spine is in Very Good condition with only minor fading; some very light fraying to spine ends. Clean paste downs; no writing or markings. Profusely illustrated with over a hundred full page engravings selected from Dore\'s finest works. Text block is in Good condition with clean pags free of writing or markings. Quite a delicate text block with the very fragile paper typical of the time period; I would recommend being gentle and soft when turning these pages. No large rips or tears but again some fraying to page edges; age toning to page edges; all illustrations are clean, bright and vibrant. Measures 12\"x9 3/4\"x 1 1/8\" thick.
