RARE 1930s MARX PRESSED STEEL TOY COUPE...Electric Motor Driven:

FIRST, LET ME SAY THAT IF YOU LIKE ADVERTISING, BE SURE TO KEEP CHECKING OUT MY sales. I am ALWAYS listing LOTS in soda, gas & oil, seed & feed and MORE!! Next, let me say that I AM NOT BY ANY MEANS AN EXPERT ON OLD TOYS!!!! That said, here we have a SUPER sale if YOU ARE! Its a steel 1930\'s coupe, about 15\" log or so. I have done some research on this car and as I understand it....It was made in 1933 and was offered in the very first Sears Christmas Catalog! I also found out that it was the first motor driven toy car. The battery area is empty, so I don\'t know if it works or not. It has the headlights and tail light, which I am sure is rare. It appears to have the original paint and I don\'t see touch-ups and such. The switch lever works smooth and the front wheels turn easily. NOTE: A similar one of these toys recently sold for around $500 and it wasn\'t as nice!! It\'s not perfect (Please look at enlarged pictures for an accurate view of it\'s condition), overall it is in very good condition for it\'s age ....NEAT OLD PIECE!!!
