This sale is for a very Rare Gruen 14k Gold metal reinforced cased, 1940\'s wrist watch.
The dial of the watch is silvered and has Arabic Numerals which once may have been flu resent. The hands are made of blue steel and the watch is signed Gruen and has a sub seconds dial.
The case of the watch is 14k gold and reinforced metal. The diameter of the case is 27mm across. Down the sides of the car there is an arrow style design and the watch has a Perspex glass.
The back of the watch opens to reveal the case numbers 5041014 / 885 it\'s signed Gruen Wandsworth.
The movement is has 25 Jewels, is manual wind and Swiss made. It is signed Gruen Guild and numbered 122559, it is in perfect working order.
The condition of the watch is perfect vintage condition 10/10, there are no digs or dents to the case and it works perfectly.
This charming watch has been left in its original condition for the collector, but it would make a lovely gift for anyone into the 1940\'s vintage era.
