Description: This necklace came to me as part of a lot from a \"clean-out\" of a home where the majority of the possessionsof the last individual to live there had been abandoned. Due to this being a rather aged individual, and the broker I receivedthese goods from had zero idea it was even in there... lends serious credibility to the authenticity. That being said, there is no documentation to substantiate the authenticity of this piece. I simply found it in the unadornedblue box, with theLincoln Mint stamp upon it. Upon opening it, I thought it was a rather interesting representation of the crucifix. After searching around on the internetfor a bit, I was able to discernthe signature on the back, the date, and name the figure. If everything I have found out about this piece is true, it is the rendering of the \"Easter Christ\" by Salvador Dali. A number of plates with this image, cast in sterling silver (as this necklace is) were produced by the Lincoln Mint in 1972... however in all my searching I was unable to find a necklace (produced by the mint or otherwise) with this particular image used.

I have reviewed a few emails on this piece and as the information has been consistent I will share what they are saying: \"This is vermeil, good over sterling.
