SCARCE 1976 SNOOPY & CHARLIE BROWN BUTTERFLY ORIGINALS CERAMIC BOOKENDS IN THE ORIGINAL BOX! Vintage Ceramic Snoopy and Charlie Brown figural bookends made by Butterfly Originals. Each bookend measures just under 6\" tall with Snoopy and Charlie Brown measuring about 4\" tall. Made of ceramic; made in Japan in the 1970\'s. Expressive, well-rendered figures!Condition: Both figures come in their original shipping boxes. The outer Butterfly Originals box is complete but does have edge and storage wear. The figures themselves have been stored in a display case for 30+ years and are in excellent shape with THE EXCEPTION OF some slight paint chipping which effects a few spots mostly on the base of the two figures. (This appears to be due to age or cheap paint when manufactured.) ALSO Snoopy has come loose from his base due to the glue drying out...but this is easily fixed with a little new glue. (I\'ve left him loose for shipping purposes.)Otherwise both figures have NO breaks, chips, dings, repairs, wear etc., etc. These were taken out of the box years ago, placed in a display case where they remained for many years, and have now been returned to the box.
