Here it is, folks. The production figure holy grail. An authenticdouble telescoping or DT Ben (Obi-Wan)Kenobi. I recently received this back from AFA--the first figure I\'ve ever submitted for grading--after it sat in my collection for many years. It graded AFA 40. (See serial number 16049694 for verification.)So, yes, the grade is low. The outer saber has a clean break in the middle and the very tip of the inner saber is broken into two pieces. (See pictures for details.) All the pieces are there though. It is complete. The intact portion of the inner saber is actually quite long and straight--it would look fantastic if someone was inclined to combine it with one of those intact outer sabers floating around. I\'m not inclined to do that. If nothing else, this piece can complete a loose collection that\'s missing the DT Ben in any condition. There are just so few out there that any of the surviving DT Bens are truly special!

The second pic shows the inner saber before I sent it in for grading, with the pieces lined up next to a DT Luke saber (DT Ben pieces circled; DT Luke saber for comparison only and not for sale). About 3mm at the tip is intwo pieces. The intact portion looks great though.The other pictures show it after AFA grading. The pieces can movearound a bit in the casing, but I don’t believe there is enough roomfor the outer saber pieces to come off the main inner saber. It has “Q.” on the saber handle if anyone is wondering.
