DescriptionRARE opportunity to add to your collection with this Tall Key Basket dated 1981. This basket is also sometimes referred to as the \"large Key Basket.\" The tall key basket became available in 1979 making this particular basket one of a limited number created in the second or third year of the style\'s existence.

Basket is in excellent condition for age with only the following imperfections noted: small (approx. 1cm split in top of wooden handle; one splint on back of basket with a raw (unstained) edge; and a small white spot on the wall side of the wood handle.
No Longaberger logo on it; baskets created before 1982 were sometimes produced without a logo and only were only dated and signed with the weavers initials. I have consulted with the Longaberger Homestead and confirmed authenticity.
Basket includes a plastic protector which is labeled \"NEW TALL KEY.\"
