. . . And Just One More Thing:Apple Newton OEM Shirt received directly from Apple, barely worn.
You are NOT likely to find such a extensive collection of Newton MessagePad hardware and software in such great condition! And I\'d be shocked if you found an original Apple Newton LS Shirt in such excellent condition too !This Newton has hardly been used and was Apple-Factory upgraded from the MessagePad 2000 to the 2100 model (original certification is included) to increase the RAM to 4MB and update the firmware to the latest available on any Newton.
It\'s very cool to watch the Newton convert your scribbling into typed characters! And to be able to wirelessly exchange information with one another using IrDA beaming capabilities.
CONDITIONThe Newton and works very well with both the included A/C adapter and the four-NiMH AA cell battery holder as seen in the photos (the NiMH AA cells are not included). Included is the sealed Apple H0163 (with original box) OEM NiMH battery pack that has aged and no longer works. (Perhaps the buyer can open and refurbish it.)
The Newton exterior shows only minor signs of usage and does not have scratches or scuffs. The only \"ding\" is a small crack in the case to the left of the Apple logo, as exaggerated in the photo. (Possibly due to the plastic being over 20 years old.) It is so minor I used the Newton for several days before even noticing it. The screen is pristine - clean and unmarked without scratches or scuffs.
The physical condition of the entire bundle is excellent: pristine Newton manuals, a few of the floppies have ball-point pen notations but otherwise everything is clean, virtually new and used/stored in a clean, non-smoking Environment.
Much of the bundle has never been used and the original Newton box is like-new condition.
