Description: Up for sale is a great folk art piece! Rare 19th century snuff box shaped as a shoe. This piece could have been made by a cobbler because it has all the details of a real shoe! It is hand crafted using leather and hand stitched. The sole of the shoe is leather and it has a genuine heel. The leather top opens up for holding the snuff. I originally purchased this piece in Franklin, Tennessee about 15 years ago. I paid over $350.00 for it then. I am cleaning out now, and my loss is your gain.
