This is one of two fine antiue Minton Hollins & Co Tiles I am listing today. Both 19th Century English Stoke on Trent made in Staffordshire, UK. See my other listing, I will combine shipping. This one titled on the bottom \"Africa\" With a fantastic blue glaze. It has a scene of a beautiful partially nude woman seated with a lion underneath her. A cornucopia of flowers to her left in her arm & a scorpion in her other hand. She is wearing some sort of horned headdress. Great decoration around her in a circle and four corners have urns with birds. Marked on the back by the Minton company. It is 8\" by 8\". So larger than most. Very nice for framing or as a centerpiece decoration on a wall or funriture.
