Museum Quality!!! 19th century Plains Indian/ Southern Plains Warrior grass dance society bandolier. Size is 40\" long. The REAL DEAL!!! this was not made for the tourist trade. It was used amongst the Warrior society in the grass dance. It is constructed of commercial hide leather straps with mescal beans and plum pits tied on to it with Indian brain tanned hide. The plum pits and beans were all hand drilled and show patina and age. the surface of the mescal beans shows crackular surface from age. There are also thimbles with silk ribbons and french brass trade beads. no doubt old.
