Morton, in asingle hefty Quarto, has compiled an assortment of stories covering the CivilWar from the perspective of the soldier, much enlarged from the first edition. Thevolume is still in publishers original tan cloth boardswith attractive gilt décor, brown lettering, and soldiers’ badges utilized asdecoration. The cover is extra-illustrated with soldiers and campfires. Bindingis tight and does not include a dust jacket (as non was issued). Additionally,Gilt lettering is embossed down the spine. This is a large (8vo) volume- over 7¾” - 9 ¾” tall.
