Description

Rare Collection of 8 Miniature Portrait Paintings of Prominent figures of the Mughal / Moghul Empire in a nice period wooden frame.
I believe the figures depicted are:

Aurangzeb (1618-1707)
Akbar the Great (1542-1605).
Shan Jahan (1592-1666).
Reena Ahluwalia.

All are incredibly finely painted and heavily gilded.
I think they are painted on paper but I don\'t know for sure, it could be porcelain.
All under their own individual glass.
Dating to the 19th century.
All measuring approximately 2 inches high x 1.5 inches.

Condition

Excellent condition.
No damage or repair.

Display beautifully and would make a great addition to someones collection.
