This absolutely beautiful doll is \"LUISA\" by artist PHILLIP HEATH.Luisa isRare andHard to Find - she is from the 1999 Ultimate Collection and Gotz Finale Collectionby Phillip Heath. She stands 32.5\" Tall and comes in hertriangle-shaped box. Luisa is limited to 750 Worldwide. She is # 28 of 750. She will come with COA. Luisa looks like a little child. Luisa comes with her original outfitfit and Hat - she is gorgeous. She is a sitting doll but flexible. Her lower cloth body is weighted and she sits very well. Her upper torso is hard vinyl as are her head and limbs. I added shoes to her feet - she came barefoot. I always add shoes to my dolls to keep their feet from getting marred.
British doll artist Philip S. Heath was a master at capturing a child\'s heart and soul. All of his dolls are sculpted after real children. Heath sculpted for Goetz doll manufacturer that produced his dolls in vinyl. Heath died on November 28, 2011 in Worcestershire in the United Kingdom. He was 62 years old. He was known for his limited edition, hand painted child dolls modeled on real children from around the world. At one time, he designed and sculpted dolls for German doll manufacturer Goetz. After leaving the company, in 2001 he opened his own doll studio in Valencia, Spain.
His dollsstarted at $500 and ended up upside of $2,000. Luisa was listed on the secondary market at $1,745.00 but she is sold out.
I am the original owner and she is from my doll collection which I kept in a \"doll room\" in a smoke-free home.
She is a heavy doll so her shipping will be around $35 in that and her box is odd-shaped and she needs to be insured for the full amount paid. If you do not want her original box she might be cheaper to ship but is it a large triangular-shaped box. I will happily refund any overage funds from shipping if it turns out to be less and I will absorb the remainder if it is more. I do not try to make money on shipping.
