(Which translates: \"Framed Antique Napoleon lll Hair Reliquary\").
Beautifully worked in wonderful detail depicting a Violet Flower (the Bonapartist Emblem) with delicate Wreath Borders and two initials (not deciferable) and made entirely of Hair (possibly from Napoleon III? - Born 1808 died 1873).
In Excellent condition for age and housed in its original Black Mourning Ebonised Oval Wood Frame withGilt Mount and Domed Glass cover.Framed Size: 5 1/2\" high x 4 7/8\" wide x 5/8\" deep.Hairwork Size: 3\" high x 2 1/2\" wide.
