A delightful Antique 19th Century Grand Tour Miniature Plaster Figure of the Lion of Lucerne, Switzerland.
On the bottom front base is an inscription as follows: \"REIVETIORUM FIDEI AC VIRTUTI\".
This particular example is Very Rare due to its miniature size and modelled in the finest detail. It is the very best I have seen.
Even his tiny fragile curled Tail is remarkably still intact!
