Description

A superb large 19th century Anglo-Indian photograph / carte de visite album. The front, back and spine carved in sandalwood with floral patterns and mythical creatures. With sadeli work borders. The centre with inlaid miniature enamel portrait. Displays wonderfully and would make a fine addition to any good overallcondition. Some minor losses commensurate with age (most noticeably to the bottom of the spine andat the top on the back, also a small loss to the rim of the portrait). The pages of the album were very loosely bound with threadandmost are nowloose. It would have been difficult to bind an album of this nature, with thick wooden covers, so this is not a great surprise, and does not detract in terms of appearance.

Returns

In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, we provide customers with the right to cancel an order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods. You must notify us your intention to do so within this period. Items must be returned in the same state and condition as they were sold in. We recommend you return items using an insured and traceable service, as any liability for loss or damage in transit will be held by the sender. The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return postage. Once the item has been returned, the original purchase price excluding shipping cost will be refunded.
