This is very rare Lyman 1st Model tang peep sight for Maynard rifles. I believe it will work on target or sporting models. This is the first one of these I have found and I can\'t find any other examples. It is a very petite sight with a unique smaller build than any other Lyman sight that I have seen as a collector. It has an antique patina throughout with traces of blue in protected areas. I oiled it and it works very nicely. The hole spacing is 7/8\" as seen in the photos. It is meant to sit on the factory spring of in the top tang which holds it in the upright position. for dimensions and condition please see the pictures and ask any questions before offerding.
