CaseThe case has a superb design to it of large proportions with the most beautiful hand painted sevres porcelain panels all originalThe case has beautiful red sevres porcelain hand painted panels decorating it which are all in excellent conditionTo the top of the clock their is a porcelain hand painted portrait of a female bustThe clock has its original gilt ormolu finish to the spelter metal case which looks absolutely amazingThe clock measures 16.25 inches high x 11inches wide x 4.5 inches deepThis antique clock is totally original and is of superb quality and much better than most available
DialThe clock benefits from its original matching red sevres porcelain hand painted dial with roman numerals and a floral garland painted to the centreThe dial is in excellent condition with all the designs being original,bright and vibrantMovementThe clock has a french 8 day duration bell striking movement which strikes once on the half past and counts the amount of hours on the hourThe movement is in good working order keeping time and striking as and when it should signed by Japy Freres and looks to be very cleanIt comes with a french brass pendulum and is supplied with a new winding key
