A wonderful antique English, genuine 18th century 22 carat gold (tests) wedding band ring. With hollow D-section band and the maker\'s markTS, it\'s engraved \'A Mide Content Cannot Repent\' to the innerband - including an unusual spelling error.It dates from around1750 and is in quite good condition for its age, with some wear and what appears to bea crush point where it was hit by a spade or similar (it\'s probably a detector find) which has resulted in some separation of inner to outer, though it\'s currently stableand could probablybe improved if desired by a decent jeweller. It weighs2.5grams and its ring size is6 ½US /M ½UK - resizing not recommended due to its age. The band measures4.8 mmwide. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coinfor scale, which measures19mm/ ¾ of an inchdiameter.
