You areofferding on a very nice antique silver French pocket watch. This watch does not appear to currently be inworking order (however, we do not have the necessary winding key). We are not specialists for watches and havenot attempted to open the watch to examine the movement. From an exterior point of view, this watch isin good condition. The crystal is intactand the hands are in good condition. Theback of the watch features a very nice floral design with a cross hatch designon the rest of the back. There is alsovery nice metal work around the perimeter of the watch.

When youopen the back of this watch, there is an engraved panel indicating that it is a8 Rubis-Cylindre watch. There are 2 openings in the back of the watch for thekey (not provided) to wind and set this watch. There is also a stamp on theinside back of the watch with the model number 14281, and a second set ofnumbers 6176. Finally, there is a lozenge-shapedengraving which we have seen on other watches of this period. Thewatch is approximately 1 1/2 inches in diameter. This unique antique French pocket watch willcertainly be of interest to any collector, given its particularly interesting engravingon its back.
