This is a rare and stunning big old handmade German 4-Layer/4-Stage white Latticinio Core Swirl Marble loaded with 3 fantastic outer layers of colored bands and strands all stacked and spaced so that each level can be seen!
I believe this marble was made in 4 stages or layers, with the white core being first, then the blue/white bands, then the red/green/yellow/white bands and finally the outermost layer of thin yellow and white strands.
A super rare, super \"busy\" marble with super eye appeal!
It measures just over 1 3/16\" (1.208\") and has a nice original surface with some faint scratches and minor as made surface imperfections including some embedded debris. The basal pontil is faceted.
