DESCRIPTION:Up for offers isthis lovely antique Christmas ornament, made from hand-blown mercury glass.This is a rare example of a hummingbird ornament with its original spun-glasswings and tail. The body is silver-white with red, gold, and teal greenaccents. This is an original antique Christmas ornament that was made inGermany circa the 1920s. The piece measures about 5 incheslong (including the tail), 3 1/4 inches long not including the tail, and about4 inches wide. There is a glass hanging loop at the center of the bird\'s back. CONDITION:We have providedphotos of the ornament from all sides. It is in excellent overall condition with no chips orcracks. The colors are bright and strong overall; there is only the slightestpaint loss that would be expected in a piece of this age. A very charming anddecorative example!
