very rare antique coat button in beautiful dug condition with a straight solid shank, most likely amilitary button as it was dug in Camden S.C. on a Revolutionary war battle field site, button displays amazingly with a beautiful brownish-green patina and measures in at a whopping 35.7mm I have never seen a identical button but I must say it looks a lot like the North Carolina state seal, please see my other listings
