Antique Mardi Gras Souvenir Pinback
Pin reads \"SOUVENIR\" on the top part. On the bottom it says: \"FEB. 18, 1896., MARDI GRAS, NEW ORLEANS, LA\". This metal souvenir was made by the Schwaab Stamp and Seal Company ofWisconsin. The back is marked: PAT APPLD FOR, SCHWAAB S&S CO, MILWAUKEE, WIS\". The pin measuresapproximately2.5\" x 1.5\" and is in good condition. It is, however, missing the pin that was originally soldered to the backside of the top portion. Extremely rare item. I have not seen another one like it. Thanks for looking!
