Offered for sale is a highly collectible and beautiful antique Royal Doulton hand painted and signed porcelain vase. This stunning vase is an outstanding example of beautiful English china. Vase has a charming scene of highland cattle in their natural habitat. The artist has used an array of soft muted colors including beautiful shades of blue, yellow and green. The top opening of the vase is heavily gilded on the inside edge which adds an elegance to the piece. Vase measures slightly over 6” high and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration. The gilding is also in excellent condition showing only slight signs of wear. There is very fine overall crazing, consistent with age, which is only noticed on close inspection. Vase is signed by the artist F. Walklott and also has the early Royal Doulton back stamp which dates it between 1902 and 1922. This is a wonderful and rare porcelain vase in great antique condition perfect for any collection.
