Description: A rare and early antique solid sterling silver soup ladle. Beautifully crafted in a classic early design. Crafted in heavy guage sterling silver. With hand engraved rabbit monogram. Hallmark includes Duty Paid mark. This looks like it was made by Richard Crossley. However, please examine the hallmark for yourself before purchasing.Please refer to condition report below.Maker: Richard Crossley, London. Died 1813. Please refer to note on maker in description.Hallmarks: Duty Paid mark, Year letter K, London Assay Office, Sterling silver and RC.Date: 1805.Approximate weight: 74.4 grams.Approximate measurements: Length 17.3 cm overall, Width 6.2 cm bowl and Width 2 cm top of handle.Condition: Appears in very good condition commensurate with age. Has fine scratches. The bowl has some tarnish to it and could do with a polish.
