A fantastic 100 year old letter opened in perfect conditionmeasuring 10 ½ inches long by 2 ¼ inches wide. Solid, and shows the stamp withhallmarks of William B Kerr and Co. Sterling. Circa 1900 and copied by Edward Bohlin in the 1930s. The identical copy by Bohlin sold on item # 132377795392 for $2800. About William B Kerr: Famous Newark, NJ silver maker during the art nouveau period 1880s-1927. Closed its doors in 1928. Made the most incredible silver objects and jewelry. Copied by Edward Bohlin in 1935 by recasting originals made by Willaim B Kerr. Amazing condition and weighs 124g. Quite rare and beautiful.
