Antique Cautery Motor Medical Device as shown in the photos.Made by the Victor Corporation, Chicago, Illinois, and intended for use in hospitals and doctor\'s office.This machine dates from just after 1900. The motor has exposed, external brushes, as well as fully exposed 110 volt thumb-screw connectors, attaching the cord.The machine is made of cast iron and is very heavy weighing over 27 pounds.There are a few nicks and scratches in the paint butIt is all original, very well preserved and in great shape for being over 100 years old.The cloth insulated cord and heavy brass plug are intact but out of caution I have not tried to operate it, but judging by it\'s appearance would wager it still functions.Of course this antique device is for display purposes only and not intended for use.The voltage adjuster slide lock down knob on the base of the machine is missing as can be seen in the photos.Thanks for looking !Buyers Please Note:New Members, Members with a Zero (0) response score, a history of Non Payment or no recent transactions must contact the seller before offerding or your offer will be canceled.
