A extremely Rare and limited edition AVIREX United States Postal service 100% Genuine HORSEHIDE hand tanned leather jacket, the Lining is a silky 50% nylon 50% Acetate and is without rips or stains.
This item was made strictly for the USPSThe Avirex company stopped producing under the AVIREX name in 2006, they are now called wings...a trip to their website can show you just how well made these jackets are.
You are no longer able to purchase this jacket however a similar from the website is priced$450 and up.
The leather is conditioned to age with every wear and last a lifetime (and then some).
This is an extremely heavy jacket and weighs over 5lbs.
On the left sleeve is an AIR MAIL patch that was designed to celebrate the times of the USPS Air Mail service.
Just some of features of this jacket are the certificate ofAuthenticity is the patch sewn in at the neckthat lists the serial number.

**** the only flaws I can find on this jacket are shown in photothe zipper is lightly frayed from normal use as shown but the zipper itself runs smooth no damage to the teeth.There is on the front left upper chest a small markand a small mark on the back as well, I did not want to play with it, perhaps a scratch it is not deep is not a rip or tear.I wouldn\'t find issue with it but need to mention as I do not accept returns.
This jacket does not have a sizelabel so measurements are below, by calculations fromthe wings website it falls to amedium - large, Measurements were taken as jacket was laid flat.
