We are offering this ALL ORIGINAL and RARE 1st Generation CHARLES EAMES for HERMAN MILLER ZENITH ROPE EDGE Dowel Base DAW Fiberglass ARMCHAIR, with ORIGINAL Checkerboard Zenith Decal. This COLLECTOR’S CHAIR is a RARE find, and is 100% ALL ORIGINAL, and the Base has NEVER been removed from the shell. The Chair measures 31 ¼” tall x 24” wide x 24” deep, with a SEAT HEIGHT of 18”. It’s Lemon Yellow color has faded ever so slightly, and you can see some faint shock mount bleed through on the seat area. The shock mounts are STRONG and STABLE, with NO drying or cracking, and the WOOD DOWELS are SOLID, with NO splits or cracks, and only some random light water spots. The ORIGINAL translucent foot glides are intact and without damage, and there are NO cracks or chips to the fiberglass. There is a light surface scuffs to the ride facing outer shell, and some light random edge soiling spots. It is NOT Dead Mint Showroom condition, but a STRONG 9 out of 10 for a 65+ year old chair, and will make any TRUE Eames Collector happy! This Eames Zenith DAW is a MUST HAVE addition to your Eames collection!We will ship this Eames Chair INTACT, and will NOT remove the base, via FedEx Ground within the Continental United States for to our CHERISHED buyers!
