RARE Antique 17th c. Pilgrims Saint Anthony of Padua Solid Silver Reliquary Ring:

This ring is a size USA size 9, and weighs 22 grams. Itis a rare solid silver reliquary ring (similar to a poison ring), but unlikethe poison ring, the “floor” of the ring is sealed shut to hold a second classrelic of St. Anthony.
This relic will be a small cloth touched to the bonesof the Saint. Usually, at the time when the Saints remains were moved, thecloth used to move the relics became a relic itself, and was cut into smallpieces to place in rings like this for wealthy Italian Catholic benefactors.
