WOW, what abox, a Superb addition to any collection.
In goodoverall displayable condition, inlaid all over with mother of pearl and brass.
Ormolu type mountsto the feet – and beaded decoration to the lid
The key escutcheonis missing.
The top partof the lock looks to be a replacement; the lid closes flush.
No key.
There aresome losses to the inlaid brass and mother of pearl decoration – see photos
The interiorhas probably been relined at some time.
