This is a RARE, Extremely Beautiful 1 qt Bright Clear with a Touch of Light Green ( AMBER MARK ), Mason\'s Patent Nov 30th, 1858 ( Top Part of 5 Missing) Mason Jar with a NOS Boyd\'s Mason Zinc Lid. This jar has a Very beautiful clear glass with a light tint of green , Very Rare to be clear let a lone with some green. On the left side is a nice size Amber/ Green Mark towards the top. The embossed print is nice and bold but the ( top part of the 5 in 1858 is missing ).There is flaking in the rim and around part of the rim at the bottom of the threads is a natural made stress mark int the glass. In theory if it was all the way through the glass which it IS NOT it would be considered a crack, so it is a stress mark. You can see and feel that it is not is side the jar.( Tish is a Plus). These do not effect the look, structure or value of this jar at all but raise it in value a lot. (These are all natural in the glass from when it was made.) There is hundreds of air bubbles in the glass along with waves and straw marks in the glass. On the back at the very top is an air bubble and leading from that is some fand out marks that look like some scratches but are very even looking so I believe it is also natural too. This also has a NOS Boyd\'s Mason Zinc Lid. This jar has a lot going on and none of it is bad, it is a plus in an old jar. This has the bubbles , natural makers marks, air bubbles, straw marks Color and amber green marks. This is a very beautiful jar that would be beautiful and perfect in anybody\'s collection. Item - 0
