“Union of the States 1860” & “The Constitution and the Laws”

An exceptional rarity, 24 mm, Brass mount with nice, clear Jugate Ferrotype Portraits of a beardless Abraham Lincoln, and running mate Hannibal Hamlin. Their names printed above and having the very rare marginal mottos: “Union of the States 1860” and on the reverse: “The Constitution and the Laws”.

A nice, very clean and impressive quality example, with original ribbon. Absolutely no touchups or repairs.
