Here is an authentic and rare to find, Open face, F. Bachschmidpocket watch Patent 4554 In1892 F. Bachschmid was awardedwith this Swiss PATENT 4554for his improved Roskopf watches.

This time piece is in excellent working conditions andtime-keeping !!

Movement:Swiss made, mechanical movement. In perfect working conditions. Plates stamped: \"PATENT 4554 and Swiss cross\" - \"Safty Mainspring \"- \"F. Bachschmid mark\". Blue hairspring. Hours are changed by a pin at the 11 o´clock position .

Dial:White enameled porcelain dialwith black roman numbers and chronograph -style second´s marks.\"F. Bachschmid - Anchor mark- PATENT -swiss cross- 4554\". Blue steel hours hand , minute hand appears to be repaired.No Hairlines or marks on dial.Rare tofind crystal dome bezelglasswith minimal \"stretch -bubble\" mark over 6o´clock .

Case:Steel . No 1823.\" F. Bachschmid\" stamped at the back, Shows some signs of worn as seen in the pictures. Overall very good and nicelypreserved conditions.

Measurement:51.70 mm (2.03 in) wide as seen in the picture. 75.55 mm (2.97 in) tall including pendantandcrown as seen in the pictures. Thickness including dome glass: 20.05 mm (0.789 in)
