For sale is a RARE antique FRIPON BLACK SCOTTIE DOG figure from Germany c. 1910-1920. This dog is made even rarer as it is a SQUEAKER TOY (although the squeaker no longer makes a sound). The dog was made as a companion to the early Jumeau Bleuette dolls and carried the name of \"Fripon\" (translated to: rascal or rogue). It came in various dog species. This cute one is a black Scottish terrier with glass eyes. It\'s body is made in two sections with a squeaker mechanism in the middle (you would push the two halves together to emit the sound). The dog has a black furry hide which shows some wear in places. It measures 2 1/4\"h by 3 1/4\"l in size.
