THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE, POSSIBLY A ONE-OF-A-KIND, antique SOLID CAST IRON Japanese Ikebana Flower Frog!!The 6-arm 4-1/4\" Flower Frog is crafted in solid cast iron of 1/2\" thickness, plus, the center is domed by about 3/4\".Each arm has 2 holes + the larger center hole = 13 holes.It weighs a whopping 9.8 oz\'s, or .61 lb.After sifting through THOUSANDS of cataloged photographs of both antique & modern Ikebana Flower Frogs,I never found one that even looked remotely similar to this design ....not one!!!It could quite possibly be a one-of-a-kind, or an exceedingly rare design at the least.One thing is for certain, it is very thick, substantial, and very, very rare!!!
